Central - Best of Maldives
Atolle: Malé, Ari, Vaavu
Die Best of Maldives Tour ist eine Mischung aus viel Fisch, Mantas, Haien und den besten Thilas (Plateau) der Malediven.
Ein ganz besonderes Highlight ist der Maya Manta Night Dive der von Cruising Maldives schon seit den frühen 2000ern angeboten wird.
Whales and Dolphins with Dr. Charles Anderson
Together with renowned marine biologist Charles Anderson, you head out into the open ocean to look for marine mammals.
There is a snorkel session in the morning and in the evening. On request, one or two dives can also be added. The route depends on the weather conditions. In the evening, there are in-depth scientific talks.
This trip focuses on snorkeling and is a research trip.
Far North + Makundhu
New on the schedule – the tour all the way to the far north of the Maldives combined with the almost never-dived Makunudhoo Atoll.
We start in Malé. With stops in Baa and Raa Atoll, sharks and plenty of fish are pretty much guaranteed.
From Raa Atoll onwards, it gets exciting. We’ve already discovered some great sites in Makundhu Atoll and are sure we’ll find many more great spots there.
Deep South - Equatorial Area
In February, March and April, Keana spends several weeks in the Deep South. Arrival and departure are both by domestic flight.
Diving takes place in the atolls Gaaf Alif, Gaaf Dhaal, Fuvamulah and Addu.
Clever channel dives define this tour. Sharks in large formations, huge green turtles and, hopefully, plenty of surprises from the blue are on the program.
Central - Best of Maldives
Atolls: Malé, Ari, Vaavu
The Best of Maldives tour is a mix of abundant fish, manta rays, sharks, and the best thilas (plateaus) in the Maldives.
A very special highlight is the Maya Manta Night Dive, which has been offered by Cruising Maldives since the early 2000s.
Northern Atolls + Hanifaru Bay
Atolls: Malé, Baa, Raa
On this route we dive in North Malé, Baa and Raa Atoll. If weather and currents allow, we also include Lhaviyani Atoll. We of course keep an eye on the cleaning stations around Hanifaru Bay*. If there is action in the bay, we will of course visit it too.
South Central Channels + Whale Shark at night
This tour takes us south to the Thaa Atoll. We dive many channels and outer reefs. In Vaavu, we look out for sharks and enjoy soft corals. Meemu is known as a very fish-rich atoll. The focus here is on pelagic fish.
An absolute highlight of this tour is in the Thaa Atoll - a spot where whale sharks often come directly to the boat.
Deep South - Tigers, Channels & Pelagics
Male to Gan / Gan to Male
This route takes you from Male to Addu, at the southern end of the Maldives. From Male, we travel the entire eastern side of the Maldives all the way to Gan. Along the way are top channels, few thilas, outer reefs, and crossing the equator is an event.
An absolute highlight is Tiger Harbor off Fuvamulah*
Northern Atolls + Hanifaru Bay
Atolle: Malé, Baa, Raa
Auf dieser Route tauchen wir im Nord Male , Baa und Raa Atoll. Wenn es die Wetter und Strömungslage anbietet inkludieren wir auch das Lhaviyani Atoll. Die Putzerstationen rund um die Hanifaru Bay* werden natürlich im Auge behalten. Geht es in der Bucht rund werden wir natürlich diese auch besuchen.
Deep South - Tigers, Channels & Pelagics
Male bis Gan / Gan bis Male
Hier geht es von Male nach Addu, an das südliche Ende der Malediven. Von Male aus fahren wir die gesamte Ostseite der Malediven bis hin nach Gan. Auf dem Weg liegen Top Kanäle, kaum Thilas, Ausenriffe als auch die Überquerung des Äquators ist ein Event.
Ein absolutes Hightlight ist der Tiger Harbor vor Fuvamulah*
Deep South - Equatorial Area
In den Monaten Feb.März.April. befindet sich die Keana mehrere Wochen im tiefen Süden. Es wird mit dem Inlandsflug eingeflogen als auch ausgeflogen.
Getaucht wird in den Atollen Gaaf Alif , Gaaf Dhaal, Fuvamulah und Addu.
Pfiffige Kanaltauchgänge prägen diese Tour. Haie in großen Formationen , riesige grüne Schildkröten und hoffentlich viele Überraschungen aus dem Blau stehen auf dem Programm.
South Central Channels + Whale Shark at night
Diese Tour führt uns Südwärts bis ins Thaa Atoll. Wir tauchen viele Kanäle und Ausenriffe. Im Vaavu halten wir Ausschau nach Haien und genießen Weichkorallen. Das Meemu gilt als sehr fischreiches Atoll. Im Fokus stehen hier die Pelagischen Fische.
Ein absolutes Highlight dieser Tour ist im Thaa Atoll - ein Spot bei denen gerne Walhaie direkt ans Boot kommen.
Far North + Makundhu
Neu im Programm - Die Tour ganz in den Norden der Malediven komniniert mit dem so gut wie nicht betauchtem Makunudhoo Atoll.
Gestartet wird in Male. Mit Stops im Baa und Raa Atoll, sind schon mal Haie und jede menge Fisch garantiert.
Ab dem Raa Atoll wird es spannend. Im Makundu Atoll haben wir schon tolle Plätze entdeck und sind uns sicher, dass wir dort noch viele tolle Plätze entdecken werden
Whales and Dolphins with Dr.Charles Anderson
Mit dem renommierten Meeresbiologen Charles Anderson geht es aufs offene Meer hinaus um nach Meeressäugern Ausschau zu halten.
Morgens und Abends gibt es einen Schnorchelgang. Auf Anfrage kann auch der eine oder andere Tauchgang eingelegt werden. Die Route hängt von der Wetterlage ab. Abends gibt es fundierte naturwissenschaftliche Vorträge.
Dieser Trip fokussiert auf schnorcheln und ist ein Forschungstrip.

Auch die Crew an Bord war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Stimmung unter den Mitreisenden war super entspannt und angenehm – eine richtig tolle Gruppe, mit der das Abenteuer doppelt Spaß gemacht hat. Alles in allem eine absolut empfehlenswerte Tauchsafari. Ich würde jederzeit wieder mit der Keane fahren!
