Deep South \u2013 Tigers, Channels & Pelagics<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n

This route takes you from Male to Addu, at the southern end of the Maldives. From Male, we travel the entire eastern side of the Maldives all the way to Gan. Along the way are top channels, few thilas, outer reefs, and crossing the equator is an event.<\/p>\n

The February and March months provide good, sometimes strong currents and clear visibility. You can expect plenty of fish, various shark species, rays, coral gardens, and whale sharks at night. An absolute highlight is Tiger Harbor off Fuvamulah*. With very high probability, you can see tiger sharks here.<\/p>\n

The return to Male is by domestic flight over the unique colors and formations of the island nation. The tour is also offered from Gan toward Male.<\/p>\n
