May-November) and Northeast Monsoon (approx. December-April). The currents, and thus the choice of dive sites and the tour, depend on these. <\/p>\n<p>Most rainfall occurs during the monsoon changes, but there is no rainy season like on the Asian continent. The summer, often decried as the rainy season, does not exist in that way. August is just as good or bad as January, April, or November. Weather guarantees are available in February and March, which is why they are the peak season in the Maldives. And it must be said that these months also always bring surprises.    <\/p>\n<p>The current weather and currents always determine the tour, so changes may occur. Generally, during the Northeast Monsoon (our winter), we prefer the south, and during the West Monsoon (our summer), the north up to Baa and Lhaviyani Atoll.<\/p>\n<p>We only organize trips to the deep south (Huvadhoo Atoll, Fuvahmulah, Addu Atoll) during the calmest period from February to mid-April, because long stretches of open ocean must be covered. The trip begins with a transfer tour from Male to Addu Atoll and the \"Deep South\" tour concludes with the journey from Addu to Male. In between, we shuttle between Gan (Addu Atoll) and Kooddoo (Huvadhoo Atoll).
